WHY WE DO THIS

Make the important work easier to follow.

CDMlogic exists to help practices turn duties into a practical routine: understand the step, do the work and keep a useful record.

Less uncertainty.
More purposeful records.

A completed document is only part of the story. Who reviewed it? What information was missing? Was the appointment actually agreed? Did the relevant person receive the information?

We are building CDMlogic around those practical questions. The aim is a shared project record that helps people see what needs attention and explain what they have done.

The product is currently in pilot. Real workflow testing and feedback are shaping it before general launch.

Our principles.

Explain the reason

Guidance should help people understand a duty and its purpose, with links to authoritative sources.

Respect the professional

Software can organise information. It cannot take responsibility for a design decision or a statutory role.

Keep evidence useful

Records should show the project context, action and supporting information, rather than simply count completed boxes.

THE PERSON BEHIND CDMLOGIC

Lloyd Godsall.

Lloyd brings 20 years of construction experience across a range of roles. He started as a carpenter and joiner and later completed a modern apprenticeship. That experience informs the focus of CDMlogic on practical questions, clear records and information that people can use on a project.

Lloyd is NEBOSH qualified, holds a Black CSCS card and has a diploma in Construction and Contracting Operations.

CDMlogic brings that practical perspective to software that helps teams follow their work and retain evidence. The product is currently in pilot, with workflow testing and feedback guiding its development.

How we prepare our resources.

CDMlogic publishes original practical guides alongside its software. They focus on the questions a project record should answer: what information was available, what decision was made, who needs to act and what evidence supports the record.

Where a guide discusses statutory duties, it links to official HSE or government guidance. We distinguish CDM 2015 in Great Britain from Building Regulations duties in England. Worked examples and product walkthroughs use fictional data and are labelled accordingly.

Each guide shows an update date. That date identifies the published version; it is not a promise that official guidance will remain unchanged. Readers should follow the linked sources when assessing a real project.

We welcome factual corrections and feedback on unclear wording. Contact CDMlogic about a resource or explore the current product screens.
